merchant is a Jamaican producer, songwriter and DJ making vocal-led house music shaped by Jamaican rhythm and pop songwriting. He began producing in 2012 and spent more than a decade working across genres before merchant took shape in 2023. His DJ sets bring that history into the room, with his own records at the center and the pace shaped around the audience in front of him.
